Reno Diversion Dam

Summary: Improvements to the Reno Diversion Dam, comprised of the replacement of the Headworks (demolition of the existing Headworks and construction of a new Headworks), modifications to the existing Diversion Dam (selective structural demolition and furnishing and installing a radial gate and inflatable rubber dam system), and construction of a new Ramp Flume downstream of the Headworks. The construction work for this project consists generally of earthwork and steel reinforced concrete construction associated with footings, walls and floor slabs; site earthwork, including excavation, backfill, and compacted backfill; stream diversion and dewatering activities; concrete demolition and removal associated with removal; concrete saw cuts; furnishing and installing concrete manhole stilling wells and associated piping and components for current and future services.
