Project Summary: Project scope includes modifications to the existing Equalizer Dam and Dike structures. Clearing/grubbing and stripping construction areas of vegetation; Removing water from work areas and controlling water to prevent flow into work areas; Bypass Blackfoot River inflow over/around/through the construction site; Excavating material from the dam embankment and foundation; Demolition of the existing dam outlet works and canal headworks structures; Placing and compacting embankment materials; Furnishing, placing, and compacting core fill, filter sand, and drain gravel materials for reconstruction of the dam embankment; Managing storm water runoff; Construct reinforced cast-in-place concrete labyrinth spillway and low-level outlet structure; Furnish and install a prestressed concrete bridge for the road crossing over the spillway; Construct reinforced cast-in-place concrete canal headworks structure; Construct reinforced cast-in-place concrete weir wall at the auxiliary spillway; Furnish and install low-level outlet slide gate, electric motor operator, and controls; Furnish and install headworks gates, electric motor operators, and controls; Furnish and install trash rake and controls at canal headworks inlet.
